Biography
a little bit about the boys...

'Common People' is David and Damien; two guys from totally different backgrounds but with one thing in common - an obsession with music! Dave is an ex-boy band wannabe come 'chip shop outlaw,' who comes from Eastbourne - while Damien, on the other hand, is a cheeky chappy born and raised in South London. They met at a gig at the Brighton Music Festival in 2002, hit it off immediately and set up their own recording studio. The next few years were spent recording a catalogue of tracks aimed at pleasing everybody but themselves. Like for so many others, the experience with the industry side of the business was soul destroying and left the boys broke and disillusioned. Having taken a bit of time out, they thought they'd have another go and they're back with a vengeance. Their aim is to put the fun back into music. Their first single, "Monday Morning Blues", is based on Damien's experience as an estate agent in South London. The track has been produced by Davali Entertainment and is due for release in March 2008.
